Congratulations to Kathi Mercure and John Dupont--both teachers at Lux--amd 8th Grader Courtney Rolf, who were all honored at the LPS Gold Star Banquet on Wednesday evening.

The last Student Council meeting for the year will be Tuesday, May 13th at 7:25 in the Multi-purpose Room. We will have donuts and juice for 2nd Semester members.

7th graders wanting to go to Washington, D.C. next spring. Get signed up early to save on the price of the trip. Costs may go up in the fall due to fuel prices. Please see Mrs. Mercure for more information.

Any students who have negative balances in the Cafeteria, please take care of them as soon as possible. Yearbooks will not be released to students who owe money to the cafeteria or have any other fines at school.

LPS will sponsor a Summer Technology Program that will include a variety of computer classes. Check the bulletin board by the cafeteria for more information. Brochures are also available in the office.

A four-day summer session for scholars is being offered in July by Talent+. Check the bulletin board for more information, or pick up a brochure in the office.
